Individuals with behavior problems can present in a variety of ways. They may be easily annoyed, blame others, act defiantly, be easily angered, act disinterested in life, or refuse to follow rules or listen to authority figures. There are a variety of mental health conditions that can cause an individual to act out at home, at school are in the workplace. Kids with these sorts of difficulties sometimes receive diagnosis of Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety or Depression. These problems may stem from temporary stresses in life or may be a sign of a long-lasting disorder. Our therapists are trained to identify the causes of problem behaviors and help you to overcome them. Therapy with children will often involve parents and other family members to help implement behavior changes.
