Sound
Humans have been creating music for thousands of years. The ability of music to heal is well documented. From our ability to connect to a song, to the sound of a river in nature, to the beating of a drum, to the purring of a cat, sound has many uses for healing and coping.
Silence
Meditation. Yoga. Contemplation. Writing, Witnessing art. Self-reflection. Art creation. Witnessing nature. Breath work. There is power in silence and learning to use it for healing.
Movement
Whether it is a full exercise routine, dancing for joy, learning to accept your body, or finding a connection to your body and mind, movement can help with healing.
Storytelling
Storytelling is the way we communicate our needs of healing. This can be done through spoken or written word, images, art, photos, drama, and more. The workshop will help you explore mediums of storytelling for healing.
