I have a special interest in working with couples who are encountering strong points of conflict and individuals who experience anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, and other distressing symptoms. Ideal clients are willing to engage with deep introspection in order to better understand themselves, and ultimately reach meaningful change. I am less inclined to offer only coping strategies, but rather look for the roots of your distress in a pace that is right for you.
The lens through which I practice is of the psychodynamic school of thought. Put simply, I believe that the formative experiences of our early life drastically impact our understanding of the world and our relationships that exist within it. I’m interested in exploring together, the ‘why’ behind our motivations and inclinations.
